DESCRIPTION
You should possess a comprehensive understanding of wireless technologies and have direct practical experience demonstrating domain expertise in one of the wireless connectivity technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (classic BT/BLE), Thread/Matter. You'll have a deep theoretical knowledge of wireless protocols, hands-on experience in consistently validating one of these wireless technologies and good tooling and automation expertise in wireless performance evaluation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in an Engineering field Proven experience as a Software Test and Automation Engineer specializing in wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, and other wireless protocols 3 years of proven experience evaluating wireless performance in WiFi or Bluetooth. 3 years of proven programming experience in scripting languages such as PERL, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, C#, and others Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's in an Engineering field preferred Strong debugging experience is highly
desirable Knowledge of existing wireless communication protocols: Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) or Bluetooth/BLE, 802.15.4/Thread/Matter Proficiency in network/RF tools such as iPerf, Wireshark, Ellisys, Network and Spectrum Analyzers, attenuators is beneficial Experience working with standards bodies in the wireless domain, including IEEE, Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, Thread Group, is beneficial
