Roles & Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end quality strategy for observability platform components (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, dashboards and MLOPs). Build and maintain automated test suites for data pipelines, APIs, and integration flows involving Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, etc. Design and execute tests to validate high-throughput, distributed systems under real-world load conditions to validate the performance benchmarking. Develop and maintain test frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, pytest, k6, playwright) Define and Implement test coverage for system reliability, alerting accuracy, and visualization correctness. Collaborate with developers, SREs / Devops to shift quality left in the development lifecycle. Integrate automated test suites to smoke, functional, regression pipelines using automation tools like - Jenkins, Spinnaker. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates. Integrating automation workflow using Gitops tools. Automating JIRA workflow release over release and test cases management using XRAY. Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for the platform QA discipline.
Mandatory Skills
Minimum 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering. Proficient in at least one scripting/programming language - JavaScript, Python, Go.
