Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with strong hands-on experience in Python-based automation to lead quality initiatives across our products. The role requires both technical expertise and team leadership, ensuring end-to-end quality delivery in a fast-paced fintech environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the QA team, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance tracking. Define QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices across projects. Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Playwright. Perform and oversee API testing using Postman for manual testing. Implement automation for APIs using Python Request library. Ensure comprehensive test coverage including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing. Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC. Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs for testability. Track, report, and drive closure of defects with engineering teams. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards relevant to fintech products. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead / Team Lead role. Strong hands-on experience with Python automation using Pytest and Playwright. Experience in API testing using Postman for manual testing. Hands-on experience with Python Request library for API automation. Solid understanding of manual testing concepts and test design techniques. Experience in handling and mentoring QA teams (mandatory). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA. Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Good to Have Experience in fintech, payments, BFSI, or transactional systems. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Exposure to performance or security testing. Experience with databases and SQL.
