In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our semiconductor products through the development, optimization, and maintenance of test solutions throughout the product lifecycle. Job Responsibilities * Test Program Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and debug test programs for new and existing semiconductor products on various Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest). Optimize test time and yield while maintaining test coverage and quality standards. * Test Hardware Development: Collaborate with design and validation teams to define test requirements and develop necessary test hardware (load boards, probe cards) for product characterization and production testing. * Yield Analysis & Improvement: Perform in-depth yield analysis, identify root causes of yield loss, and implement corrective actions to improve product yield and cost efficiency. * Product Characterization: Conduct comprehensive product characterization across various operating conditions (temperature, voltage) to ensure performance and reliability. * Failure Analysis Support: Support failure analysis activities by providing detailed test data and assisting in identifying failure mechanisms. * New Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Actively participate in NPI activities, including test plan development, test program bring-up, and production ramp-up support. * Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation, test reports, and yield analyses. * Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test methodologies, processes, and equipment utilization. * Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless product development and launch. Job Qualifications * Master's / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. * Fresh or Less than 2 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, or a related role. * Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and digital/analog circuit design principles. * Proficiency in developing test programs on ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest 93000). * Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar scripting languages. * Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Spotfire) for yield and characterization data. * Knowledge of common semiconductor test methodologies, such as DFT (Design for Test) and DPM (Defect Per Million) concepts. * Experience with test hardware design and debug. * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
