Role & seniority: Automation Technician / Engineer; mid-level to experienced practitioner in a manufacturing setting.
Stack/tools: PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), HMIs, SCADA; hardware/software installation and commissioning; WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition; Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus; reading electrical drawings (P&IDs); safety systems knowledge.
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program/modify PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA; diagnose faults and minimize downtime.
Install/commission automation hardware, perform maintenance, and support validation, testing, and performance optimization.
Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field.
2+ years’ hands-on automation experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
Strong PLC programming; HMI/SCADA configuration; ability to read electrical docs; analytical troubleshooting.
PLC languages: Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text; robotics integration; VFDs/servos; machine vision; Python or C++ scripting.
