Role & seniority: Senior/experienced IP Systems Engineer (systems integration engineer) for AMD’s S3 IP Systems Engineering team.
Stack/tools: SOC architecture knowledge; security hardware (signing, encryption, fusing); FPGA and other hardware emulation platforms; BIOS/OS/driver interactions; boot flows; programming/scripting (Python, C/C++, Ruby); IP/system bring-up and SOC debug techniques; standard lab equipment and networks.
Lead systems design across the product lifecycle (pre-silicon, emulation, post-silicon, software integration).
Collaborate with Design, Software, Tools, and other teams to define testing and debugging methodologies and ensure coverage and customer experience for AMD IP.
Isolate and debug security IP issues during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production; publish and align test plans and dependencies; drive validation innovations and tooling.
In-depth knowledge of SOC architecture and security hardware functions (signing, encryption, fusing).
FPGA/hardware emulation experience for pre-silicon debug.
Strong understanding of BIOS/OS/driver interactions and boot flows.
Programming/scripting proficiency (Python, C/C++, Ruby).
IP/system bring-up, SOC debug methodologies; lab equipment and network familiarity.
Knowledge of power management features.
Prior, recent experience in pre- and post-silicon validation in semiconductors.
