How will you contribute?
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various testing methodologies and a passion for
ensuring software quality. This role will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards and delivering top-notch products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain test cases using Gherkin syntax. Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure the quality and performance of our applications. Utilize test case management tools to organize and track testing activities. Collaborate with development and product teams in an Agile environment, participating actively in sprints. Conduct API and backend testing using Postman. Write basic SQL queries for database testing. Understand and validate JSON and XML formats for requests and responses. Perform in-sprint testing to ensure features are tested within the development cycle. Participate in code freeze and release exit processes to ensure smooth deployments.
Qualifications
Preferred experience in writing test cases using Gherkin syntax. Proven experience in functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. Experience with test case management tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within sprints. Hands-on experience with Postman for API and backend testing. Basic knowledge of SQL for writing and executing queries. Understanding of JSON & XML formats for request and response validation. Experience in conducting in-sprint testing. Knowledge of code freeze and release exit processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. A keen interest in continuous learning and professional development. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 2 - 5 years of experience in a QA role or related field.
