Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing for Web applications. Solid understanding of web technologies, including how the web works, protocols, servers, and applications. Automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, etc., with coding skills in Java or similar programming language. Proficient in SQL – able to write and execute basic queries.
Basic experience with DevOps technologies: Git (version control), Jenkins (CI), Docker (containerization), Kubernetes (orchestration), Ansible, and cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure. Working knowledge of Linux – connecting to servers, exploring directories, DB access, and investigation. Experience in Web Services testing – SOAP and REST, including creating GET/POST requests using WS testing tools. Ability to prepare QA documentation such as Test Plans, Test Cases, and Traceability Matrices. Skilled in estimating QA efforts and timelines. Familiar with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.). Knowledge of Cucumber BDD, Gherkin language, and behavior-driven testing practices. Exposure to cloud services and a foundational understanding of DevOps processes.
