Full Description

The QA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases based on business and functional requirements to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role owns end-to-end test execution, defect management, and regression testing while maintaining clear documentation and reporting to support project deliverables and stakeholder visibility. Responsibilities & Requirements Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and functional requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Execute and maintain test scripts across applications including MVA, Web, iPay, My Book, and OSS/BSS web e-commerce systems. Track, log, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle and collaborate with development teams to validate fixes. Perform regression testing to ensure application stability and prevent impact on existing functionality. Analyze test results, verify issue resolution, and ensure all quality standards and test exit criteria are met prior to sign-off. Prepare, manage, and maintain test data, test cases, execution reports, and QA documentation to support project deliverables and stakeholder visibility. Participate in requirement reviews, test case walkthroughs, and design discussions to identify gaps and ensure alignment with business objectives. Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices across the testing lifecycle. Bring 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, preferably in web and e-commerce environments. Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 2–3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Familiarity with web-based applications, e-commerce platforms, and end-to-end testing methodologies. Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
