Role & seniority: Software QA Engineer (mid/senior level)
Stack/tools: full-stack knowledge; strong web architecture understanding; Experience with JIRA and Confluence (nice-to-have)
Create detailed test plans and test cases; estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Identify, document, and track defects; perform regression testing after bug fixes
Develop/implement testing processes for new/existing products; collaborate with developers and product managers; test ballistic calculations and algorithmic software components
Strong technical background; good English communication
Full-stack knowledge; solid web architecture understanding
High-level mathematics and physics background (equivalent to ~5 units)
Practical software engineering experience
Ability to multitask, work under pressure; strong problem-solving and proactive attitude
Nice-to-haves: background/experience in artillery or ballistic systems; experience with JIRA and Confluence

We’re Hiring: a Software QA Engineer to join a team working on advanced algorithmic and web-based systems, with a focus on testing ballistic calculations based in Yokneam, full-time (on-site).
Responsibilities
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities Identify, record, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client and system requirements Collaborate closely with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to define and validate system requirements Monitor and analyze debugging results and system behavior Test ballistic calculations and algorithmic software components Perform testing of ballistic software applications and algorithms
Requirements
