Top 3 responsibilities

Lead and contribute to hardware subsystems for the Neural Grader project; oversee hardware installations at client sites (up to 12/year)

Coordinate contractors, develop/qualify suppliers, and liaise with project, purchasing, and quality teams; prepare specs and inquiry docs; participate in design reviews

Conduct POC testing/evaluation of equipment; manage project scope, timelines, and budgets; travel 3–5 days/month

Who you are
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in installing and setting up machinery within industrial environments You have a university degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Process engineering or any related experience
What you’ll do
Lead and contribute to the execution of hardware subsystems and components for the Neural Grader project Oversee and perform hardware installations and configurations of the Neural Grader scanner at client locations, managing up to 12 installations per year Coordinate contractors to ensure alignment with project and site requirements Develop and qualify suppliers, while monitoring and coordinating technically with vendors Collaborate with project team members, purchasing, and quality departments Prepare technical specifications and inquiry documentation Participate in the design review process Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) testing and evaluation of new equipment
What we require
You have prepared machine specifications and machines acceptances You are willing to travel (3-5 days/month average - business travels with international contacts) Project managing and planning skills/ very well organized Knowledge of automation, materials, mechanical processing and dimensioning of parts
Nice to have: PLC experience Ability to take responsibility for components and to provide the best solutions regarding budget, quality and time Good skills in design tools such as AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, NX, Creo, FreeCAD DIY (Do it yourself) ethic Sharp attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills The ability to envision a project from start to finish
