Full Description

POSITION TITLE: Industrial Automation Engineer

WORK LOCATION: Alabang, Muntinlupa City

WORK SETUP: Full-Time, Hybrid

SALARY: PHP 25K–28K

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
  • Develop project plans and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Initiate and Monitor Change Requests.
  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting as necessary to meet changing requirements.
  • Work closely with project manager, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the, project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
  • Ensure that all engineering activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Support the procurement process by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting engineering issues and providing solutions to technical challenges.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and other external parties to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Contribute to developing relevant working procedures, templates, and standards.
  • Keep abreast of new engineering methods, technologies, and trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation or Industrial equivalent engineering degree).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 2-4 years in project management or a lead role.
  • Solid understanding of implementing industrial automation projects from manufacturing, water and wastewater, power and energy, and other industrial sectors.
  • Control System Design and Implementation - deep understanding on PLCs and SCADA and the various industrial protocols used in Automation and IIOT Proficiency in PLC Programming, System Integration and Networking.
  • Demonstrated capability in both Design Tools and Documentation - knowledgeable with CAD software for designing and updating.
  • Experience in projects Engineering's Skills - planning, executing and monitoring projects from design, procurement, installation, commissioning to handover.
  • Must be able to assist Program Management on budget allocation, resourcing and timeline.
  • Manage external partners and contractors during project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability in solving skills, professional communication skills.
  • Should be able to work collaboratively with other teams.
  • Should be open and willing to adapt and learn different strategies and technologies related to the job.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments is a plus.
  • Proven leadership and motivation skills.
  • Ability to travel and willing to work on flexible time.
