Your tasks
You are responsible for PLC programming and visualisation tasks for paper processing machines. Your tasks include planning and installing our process control systems, industrial PCs and virtualisation servers. Furthermore you are supporting your colleagues in Hardware Planning. You are involved in the commissioning and optimisation of conversions and new machines. Your area of responsibility will be rounded off by carrying out services on customer systems, both on site and remotely.
Your profile
You have successfully completed a technical degree specialising in automation technology, electrical engineering or computer engineering or have completed further training as a technician, for example in the field of mechatronics. You have a good knowledge of Siemens automation systems and the creation of control software and ideally have already gained several years of professional experience. A good command of English, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of German is advantageous. On a personal level, you will have a very good grasp of things, a high level of process understanding, a structured working style and a high level of motivation. Occasional global business trips (approx. 25 %) are a welcome change for you.
