Key Responsibilities: Capital Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of capital projects related to manufacturing automation. Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop automation solutions for new and existing manufacturing processes. Technical Expertise: Apply mechanical engineering principles and automation expertise to optimize manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability. Integration: Interface with existing machinery and systems to seamlessly integrate new automation solutions into the production environment. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure the safe operation of automated systems. Cost Management: Work closely with the finance team to manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within established financial parameters. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to uphold product quality standards during and after the implementation of automation solutions. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, designs, specifications, and progress reports. Troubleshooting: Respond to automation-related incidents and perform root cause analysis to resolve system malfunctions promptly. Implement preventive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and longevity of automation equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 3+ years direct automation experience required executing capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
