We are seeking a motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in manual testing and a strong foundation in API and Automation testing. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with testing tools like Postman, Playwright, and Cucumber BDD framework, and will play a key role in ensuring product quality across web and mobile platforms.
Manual Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure quality. Develop, document, and maintain test cases. Execute test plans and report test results to stakeholders. Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues in early development stages. Ensure compliance with QA standards and procedures.
Automation Testing Develop and maintain Postman scripts to automate API test scenarios, including authentication, response validation, and error handling. Implement schema validation testing to ensure API responses adhere to defined contracts. Good understanding of Mobile App Automation with Cucumber BDD framework and Appium. Hands on experience on Website Automation with Playwright or Cypress. Execute and troubleshoot automated tests using Newman CLI, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Collaboration & Defect Management Work closely with the Engineering Team and Product Team to ensure the quality of the Product. Track and manage defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira/Github Project). Provide feedback to developers on product’s performance, errors, and improvements. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Ability to utilize AI tools in testing and day-to-day tasks and proficient in prompt engineering.
