Role & seniority: Embedded Systems QA Engineer; early-to-mid career (minimum 1 year embedded QA experience)
Stack/tools: Python (primary), scripting (Python/MATLAB/shell); manual and automated testing; bug tracking; software/hardware/ME collaboration; familiarity with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions; data acquisition & analysis; basic electronic measurement tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) as a plus
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans/cases for flight-ready satellite systems and payloads
Perform thorough manual and automated tests on production satellite modules; identify, log, and report defects; collaborate with software/hardware/mechanical teams
Design and extend test infrastructure, write/execute automated tests for new features, and provide test results to the team
Technical degree (B.S./M.S.)
≥1 year embedded QA experience
Proficiency in Python; scripting skills (Python/MATLAB/shell)
Attention to detail; adherence to testing methodologies
Hands-on use of electronic measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
Automation methodologies and version control experience (Git, CI/CD)

What is the role?
We are looking for a dedicated Embedded Systems QA Engineer to join EnduroSat. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our flight ready satellite systems and integrated payloads. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality products. Your work will be crucial in enhancing system performance and supporting the success of our space missions.
Actively participate during mission development activities and software integration of various satellite payloads Work in close collaboration with an experienced team of software, hardware, and mechanical engineers Improve product designs by iteratively testing novel developments, creating logs and reporting defects using bug tracking tools Execute thorough manual and automated tests on production satellite modules before shipping them to customers Design, write, extend and execute test plans and test cases for complex features Maintain & extend existing software testing infrastructure and tooling Write new exhaustive automated tests for newly released features in a fast-paced environment Investigate issues and supply test results/conclusions to the team
