Role & seniority: Hybrid Hardware Engineer (likely mid to senior) reporting to an Engineering Manager
Stack/tools: Hardware/firmware test stations for PCBA and module testing; digital interfaces; Python software development; EE lab skills (PCBA bring-up, testing, troubleshooting); Linux networking (preferred)
Develop and maintain HW/SW test stations for PCBA and module-level testing
Provide technical leadership to manufacturing partners to bring up, troubleshoot, and maintain production testers
Conduct PCBA and photonic module failure analysis of production fallouts; develop troubleshooting and rework procedures; document tester requirements and manage tester vendors
BS or MS in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field
Strong experience with digital interfaces
Hands-on EE lab skills (PCBA bring-up, testing, troubleshooting)
Python software development
Good English communication
Knowledge of Linux networking and network infrastructure
Experience managing contract manufacturers (particularly in Asia) with ability to travel up to 25% (domestic/international)
Additional Python expertise and experience in digital/analog circuit design/analysis
