Role & seniority: GPU Compiler Engineer / Systems Engineer (mid to senior level; likely 4+ years software/systems experience)
Stack/tools: C/C++ (primary), Python scripting; OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan; GPU profilers/debuggers (RenderDoc, Pix, NSight); testing with shaders; game engines (Unreal, Unity); Winpix; performance analysis; basic shader/test automation
Develop and deliver a high-quality graphics compiler for Adreno GPUs
Create unit tests and shader scenarios; identify performance improvements; report functional issues
Collaborate with internal teams and customers; contribute to multi-disciplinary efforts; develop technical training materials as needed
Strong C/C++ proficiency
Solid knowledge of OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan
Experience with GPU performance analysis and graphics profilers/debuggers (RenderDoc, Pix, NSight)
Familiarity with rendering pipelines and contemporary rendering algorithms
Experience with Unreal or Unity; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience creating technical training materials (frameworks, samples, tutorials, videos)
Python or scripting for test automation; experience profiling/optimizing rendering algorithms
Background in graphics compiler development and shader-based testing
Location & work type: India (Qualcomm India Private Limited), full-time role (engineering group) with on-site/hybrid potential depending
