Solventum Drink Water Filtration Business (DWF) is announcing an exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Engineer for Drink Water Business that will work in the frontline to solve the most critical challenges of our local customers. Our key markets continue to grow at accelerated rates due to the strong need of drink water solutions to improve water quality in households. The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Quality Engineer supporting the Guangzhou, China plant operations, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading quality assurance initiatives to drive key quality priorities for our Drinking Water portfolio and our customers. Identifying, analyzing and resolving customer complaints, quality issues, and nonconformances. Interacting with global manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and support functions to ensure compliance to product performance claims and certifications, prevent quality nonconformances, reduce variation in product and process, and achieve operational excellence in our value streams. Fostering a quality-focused environment and mindset throughout the plant. Deliver quality-related training to plant personnel. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and/or engineering Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Demonstrated competency in essential quality engineering skills, including problem solving, critical thinking, statistical data analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and risk mitigation (FMEA, etc.). Experience with drinking water filtration products and certifications Product and process experience in non-wovens, carbon block, injection molding, and automated assembly.
