Eta Wireless is solving the fundamental problem of RF power amplifier power consumption in communications devices. We pioneered Digital Envelope Tracking (DET) technology and have since been acquired by Murata Manufacturing in September 2021. Eta is a multi-disciplinary, multi-national team of engineers with expertise spanning RF systems, power electronics, integrated circuits, embedded systems, software, algorithms, and module design. The breadth of expertise allows us to solve challenging problems with creative and disruptive solutions at tier-one customers. Job Location Waltham, MA. May telecommute 2 days per week, but report to the office in Waltham, MA 3 days per week.What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Characterize the performance of Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) hardware in the lab as it compares to simulation

Perform experiments to determine the root cause of PMIC behavior

Utilize knowledge of varied test and measurement equipment such as automated test hardware and software using MATLAB or

Python, DC/DC power converter topologies such as Buck/Boost/Buck-Boost/Charge pumps and common chip-to-chip protocols

Experience: 2 years experience with DC/DC power converter topologies; common chip-to-chip communication protocols; schematic design and layout using Altium; Development of tests using MATLAB or Python. Or May qualify with Master’s degree Electrical Engineering or related field with coursework that must include Power Management ICs, Power ICs, or Power ModulesOther Salary: Must offer $90,626 or higher
