QA/QE Job Description
Location: Belgrade (up to 3 days per week in the office) Full-time | SaaS | B2B | Medical Education | AI-powered The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior QA / Quality Engineer who thrives on ownership, system-level thinking, and the pursuit of near-zero-defect releases. You’ll shape and lead our manual and exploratory testing process, define release validation workflows, and ensure that every build leaving the staging environment reflects confidence, not hope. This is not a ticket-clicking or "check-the-box" QA role. This is a builder’s QA role - one that demands curiosity, rigor, and a deep understanding of how complex SaaS systems behave under real-world conditions. You’ll dissect issues until you know why they happen, not just that they happen. You’ll bring structure where it’s missing, champion process where it’s needed, and raise the collective quality bar across the team. Who We Are Evermed is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company serving medical associations worldwide with a Netflix-style video education platform and a full engagement engine behind it. Our mission is to help doctors stay up-to-date and elevate patient care through world-class, personalized educational content. We've reached product-market fit and are scaling with long-term medical association clients. We maintain agile startup energy - lean, AI-forward, and fun to work with - but without the drama, firefighting, and roller coasters. We've built a strong architectural foundation designed for scalability and feature velocity. We're Looking For You if You… Have 6+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in SaaS environments Have been the most senior (and not the only) QA in a dev-heavy team Bring ownership over exploratory manual testing and regression validation Can design test plans, regression suites, and release validation protocols that scale across tenants and components Are able to deeply understand the system architecture, APIs, and data flows
Don’t stop at “this doesn’t work” - you go further: “this doesn’t work because…” Are confident signing off on releases, knowing you’ve tested the right things the right way Think like a user, test like a hacker, and communicate like a teammate Believe that QA’s role is to prevent issues before users ever notice them Your Responsibilities Lead exploratory and regression testing for web and API components (mobile coming soon) Define and evolve QA processes - from test case management to release sign-off Collaborate closely with developers to isolate, reproduce, and explain complex issues Establish a strong “break the build” culture while maintaining team trust and flow Ensure test cases and results are organized and traceable in TestRail and Jira Use Postman for API validation and sanity checks Identify smart automation candidates and work with the team to expand coverage Provide clear, actionable bug reports - not just findings but insights Uplift QA practices across the team by sharing context, methods, and discipline Bonus Experience (Nice to Have) Exposure to Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks Experience with performance and non-functional testing using tools like JMeter, Locust, or k6 Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS, feature flagging, or release branching models Experience testing video-based platforms, personalization engines, or content delivery systems Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release readiness metrics Comfort using AI tools for test design, data generation, or reporting Culture, Mission, Fit We’re a small team with a big impact. There’s no politics, no silos, and no hiding - only clear ownership, open collaboration, and high standards. You’ll work with engineers who respect QA as their closest ally, not a post-hoc checker. When you sign off a release, that release reaches doctors in 40+ countries. It enables real learning, and indirectly, better patient care. That responsibility is why we test deeply, methodically, and with pride. We don’t believe in “bug-free code” - we believe in systems that fail gracefully and teams that learn fast. We’re looking for a QA who can drive that philosophy forward with precision, calm, and confidence. How to Apply? Click here to complete the application.
