Senior Firmware Validation Engineer

Engineers will be on specialized teams within either Memory (DDR5), Power (PMIC), or PCIe/CXL
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing validation plans and test cases for DDR4 and DDR5 memory systems
- Validating memory system equalization techniques and transmission line characteristics to optimize signal integrity and data transfer rates
- Creating firmware solutions to enhance memory system capabilities and compatibility
- Developing and implementing margining algorithms
- Utilizing Python and C++ for test automation, firmware development, data analysis
- Collaborating with design and architecture teams to design/execute tests for memory systems
- Analyzing validation results to identify and report issues and any potential improvements
- Resolving validation and performance issues, ensuring product readiness
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in firmware validation engineering
- Expertise with DDR4 and/or DDR5 memory system validation
- Experience with signal integrity and equalization
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming for test automation, firmware development
- Experience with memory controllers, firmware, and BIOS development is preferred
- Understanding of memory system architecture and industry standards

Compensation
- $165K - $225K + 15% Annual Bonus (Senior-Level) + Equity
