Test Execution

• Execute validation using Oracle RDS, SQL/PL-SQL, stored procedures, materialized views, and ETL/ELT outputs.
• Perform reconciliation using data validation and reconciliation frameworks, data quality profiling, and comparison scripts.
• Validate interfaces and services using REST-assured, SOAP UI, and JMeter for API/service checks.
• Document results and identify discrepancies, defects, or data quality issues.

Defect Management

• Report and track defects using Jira or equivalent tools, collaborating with developers and data teams.
• Re-validate corrected data sets and confirm proper resolution without introducing regression issues.

Collaboration

• Work with developers, DBAs, and migration teams to align on mappings, lineage, and validation checkpoints.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide visibility into data readiness and test status.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend improvements to validation processes, ETL/ELT checkpoints, and reconciliation coverage.
• Stay current with SQL optimization methods and ETL/ELT quality techniques.

Documentation

• Maintain validation plans, SQL queries, reconciliation logs, and data quality reports.
• Ensure documentation supports traceability and audit readiness for migrated records.
