About The Role

Ascom is seeking a driven and experienced Test Lead for our Regional Architecture & Workflows team (Solutions), to join our team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will oversee testing processes and strategies for our regional solutions, ensuring high-quality products are delivered across multiple countries. You will play a key part in guiding and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test cases and procedures.

Your Team

You will be part of the Regional Workflow and Architecture team, a group of seven skilled professionals with diverse expertise. Team members are located across Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands. This group forms a core part of the larger Solution Team North, which comprises a total of 20 people and includes roles such as Segment Managers, Solution Managers, and Product Managers. Collectively, the team supports our offices in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the UK, and the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, guide, and monitor the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test cases and procedures. Ensure visibility, traceability, and control of the testing process to deliver high-quality products. Support local test teams with tools and processes. Define and enforce testing strategies, standards, and best practices. Oversee the creation, review, and execution of test cases and scripts. Mentor and support local test teams within the region. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools. Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions; foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. You Have

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar, or at least 5 years of equivalent experience in IT. ISTQB certification (higher than foundation level) or equivalent. Experience leading resources as a Subject Matter Expert. 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role or in software testing working cross-functionally. Experience working in agile development and fast-paced environments.
