Role & seniority: Design Verification Engineer (senior-level) at AMD.
Stack/tools: SystemVerilog, UVM; testbench development; object-oriented programming (Python, Ruby, Perl); scripting; low-level languages; verification of PCIe, PCIe-related IPs, subsystems; familiarity with AXI/AMBA/PIPE, PCI Express, SATA, USB, Ethernet, DDR; experience with formal verification, coverage-driven verification, random and directed testing; simulation profiling and acceleration; HLS tools/process.
Lead functional verification from test plan through verification sign-off; own verification flow for one or more features or SubSystem IP interoperability.
Collaborate with architects and designers to understand IP features; write/implement/review test plans; conduct code reviews.
Build testbench components and verification sequences; apply UVM methodologies; drive coverage convergence and sign-off; provide technical leadership.
Expert in SystemVerilog and UVM; proficiency in OO programming (Python, Ruby, Perl) and low-level languages.
Proven experience verifying commercially successful IPs, subsystems, or SoCs.
Strong communication, time management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities; self-starter with independent drive.
Mentorship experience; ability to influence team morale and culture; experience with simulation profiling, acceleration, and HLS tools/process.

PC System Architecture: PCI Express, SATA, USB, Ethernet, HyperTransport, DDR. Excellent knowledge of standard bus/interface protocols (i.e., AXI, AHB, AMBA, OCP, PIPE). Experience with simulation profiling, efficiency improvements, acceleration, HLS tools/process. Must be a self-starter, and able to drive independently and efficiently challenge time-critical tasks to on-time completion. Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills.
