The Role We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer to join our Risk Management team, part of the Payments domain, and contribute to safeguarding our payment flows and business operations. As a member of the Risk Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and robustness of systems that detect, prevent and mitigate fraud and financial risk across millions of transactions worldwide. Your work will directly impact secure payment processing, fraud prevention strategies and compliance with risk-related business rules. Working at ETG means that you will be testing backend services and APIs that are critical for real-time decision making, transaction scoring, rule engines and integrations with external risk and fraud assessment providers. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality risk solutions that scale globally. Responsibilities Play an active part in an agile team throughout the lifecycle on the analysis, design, development & testing Design and implement test cases to run in an automated environment Execute both automated test scripts, and manual testing when needed Debug and fix existing failed automated test cases Maintain existing automation framework and suggest improvements Design and execute regression test suites Create bug reports, and test bug fixes Propose new testing methods, tools and frameworks Drive quality assurance lifecycle Requirements Demonstrated at least 3 years of experience in a software test automation position for backend applications Knowledge of Java (experience in Java development and/or creating Java automation scripts) Previous hands-on experience in software development will be considered an asset Experience in working with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestNG, Jenkins CI, Postman will be highly appreciated Very good command of the English language Strong problem solving skills and ability to grasp the big picture Attention to detail and strong testing mindset (nothing goes untested) Strong communication skills and ability to quickly establish relationships Ability to prioritize quickly, act proactively and adapt to changes Thirst for knowledge and intellectual curiosity Enjoy working in an agile environment Benefits
