This role focuses on defining automation strategy, building enterprise-level frameworks, and enabling multiple product teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Job Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber BDD
Drive adoption of AI-driven automation and modern QA practices to improve efficiency and coverage
Define and enforce automation standards, best practices, and reusable components across the COE and enterprise QA teams
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and ensure smooth execution of Web, API and Mobile automation suites
Oversee and optimize smoke, regression, and CI/CD automation suites across multiple teams
Collaborate with product and leadership teams to onboard applications into the COE automation ecosystem
Analyze automation failures, provide root cause insights, and drive corrective actions
Mentor and guide other automation engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development
Act as a thought leader in automation strategy, governance, and enterprise-wide QA initiatives
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in QA automation with hands-on framework design and development
Strong experience in automation framework design for Web, API, and Mobile platforms
Hands-on expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, Cucumber BDD, Appium or equivalent tools and frameworks
Proven experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure)
Deep understanding of automation frameworks, test design patterns, reusable components, and enterprise-scale delivery
Experience leading or mentoring multiple teams in a COE/shared services model
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC
