About the Role We are seeking an experienced and visionary QA Manager to establish and lead our Quality Assurance Center of Excellence. This individual will be responsible for building best-in-class QA practices, driving transformation, and delivering exceptional quality experiences across our organization. The QA Manager will be accountable for Non-Production Environment Management, Test Data Management, Test Strategy, and all allied documentation. They will also lead the strategy for test automation, participate in production support and incident management, and ensure seamless QA operations in an Agile delivery environment. Key Responsibilities: Establish and transform the QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, standards, and documentation. Oversee Non-Production Environment Management and Test Data Management to support robust testing processes. Lead the strategy, selection, and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools. Support both web-based and mobile application testing, ensuring coverage and quality across platforms. Participate in production support and incident management activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive root cause analysis. Champion the adoption and effective use of Test Management tools and automation frameworks. Work closely with Agile delivery teams to integrate QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Mentor, coach, and develop QA team members, promoting professional growth and skill development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in establishing and transforming QA teams and practices. Strong background in Non-Production Environment Management, Test Data Management, and Test Strategy development. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and test management platforms. Experience in testing web-based applications, mobile applications, and performing data-related testing. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile delivery environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Must-Have Skills: Expertise in QA strategy, automation, and environment management. Proficiency with test management and automation tools, including but not limited to - Test Management Tools: JIRA (with Zephyr/Xray), TestRail, qTest, Quality Center (Micro Focus ALM), PractiTest, TestLink, Azure DevOps Test Plans. Automation Tools: Selenium, UFT, UIPath, Appium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Katalon Studio, TestComplete, Ranorex. API & Performance Testing: Postman, LoadRunner, JMeter. AI testing and the use of AI for test planning and test case generation Cross-Browser/Device Testing: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs. Experience in both web and mobile application testing. Strong documentation and process improvement skills. Familiarity with incident management and production support. Nice-to-Have Skills: Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and DevOps integration. Exposure to financial instruments or experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain. Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.
