Role: Automation Specialist - Java & Selenium Expert

Experience: 3 to 4 Years

Location: Navi Mumbai (Flexible to travel to Juinagar & Belapur as required)

Education: Any UP or PG

Interview mode: Face to Face only

Notice Period: Immediate or 15 days only

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Develop reusable and scalable automation frameworks that can be easily maintained and extended for multiple projects.
• Implement best coding practices, ensure code modularity, and follow object-oriented design principles in automation scripts.

Framework & Tools Management

• Build and manage test automation frameworks using Maven for efficient build and dependency management.
• Manage source code repositories, branching, and merging strategies using Git/GitHub.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality automation code and adherence to team standards.

Continuous Integration & Deployment

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Configure automated test execution schedules and reporting within CI environments.
• Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration between automation and deployment pipelines

Test Maintenance & Reporting

• Maintain and regularly update regression test suites to ensure consistent coverage across new releases.
• Analyze automation results, report defects, and provide insights into test coverage and quality metrics.
• Share Daily Status Reports (DSRs) highlighting progress, blockers, and test outcomes.

Mandatory Skills

Programming Language: Java

Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD)

Build & Dependency Management: Maven

Version Control: Git/GitHub

Continuous Integration: Jenkins

Nice To Have

Experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured. Understanding of RESTful API architecture and request/response validation. Familiarity with performance or security testing tools. ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.
