Salary: C$43 - C$48 / hour
Role & seniority: Software Testing Senior Associate; experienced contributor in automotive embedded software testing.
Stack/tools: Embedded platforms; C/C++; Python; test automation and scripting; test management and defect tracking (e.g., JIRA); familiarity with distributed, multi-threaded systems; potential exposure to Android and unit test frameworks.
Design test plans from software requirements and architecture documents; document/validate test plans.
Execute tests, perform root-cause analysis, triage defects, verify fixes; maintain test libraries/tools for regression and new features.
Develop and maintain test automation, scripts, and reporting; analyze test coverage and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
3+ years in software development and/or automation testing on embedded platforms.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; ability to write tests and scripts, understand existing code.
Knowledge of distributed, multi-threaded systems; experience with manual and automated testing; experience with test management and defect tracking.
Experience with Android; familiarity with C++ unit test frameworks; exposure to automated test environments; strong communication skills (oral/written); experience with JIRA; test automation development across frameworks.
Location & work type: Onsite role in Ontario, Canada; full-time engagement (on-site) with compensation roughly $43.00–$48.0
