About the role As a Vehicle Testing Specialist you will be a trusted testing expert responsible for our daily testing activities for our autonomous vehicle programs. Vehicle Testing Specialists are responsible for executing test plans, supporting a wide range of testing functions, and reporting on testing outcomes to provide crucial information for our software development teams. You will be working closely with our software engineers and operations teams to coordinate and execute testing for our AV and ADAS projects.

Create and execute test plans on AV & ADAS development vehicles based on requirements
Coordinate and improve testing procedures together with SW engineers and operations teams
Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results
Work with Vehicle Operators to conduct testing professionally and efficiently
Be a safety champion for our vehicle testing programs

We're looking for someone who has

2+ years of experience creating and executing test plans for hardware or software systems
A passion for automotive technology
Demonstrated themselves to be detail-oriented
A collaborative mindset and deep interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy software

Nice to have

Previous experience in automotive, defense, mining, trucking or agriculture industries
Previous experience with ADAS, autonomous Vehicles, or other automotive work
Previous V&V and test engineering experience
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located. For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $90,000 USD to $125,000 USD annually.
