Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of product quality and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes, perform inspections and tests, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quality management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products.

Responsibilities

· Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of production to verify adherence to quality standards and identify defects or non-conformities against standards defined by the design team.
· Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
· Analyze quality data and trends and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements and corrective actions.
· Lead or participate in root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
· Develop and maintain documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and inspection reports.
· Train and educate employees on quality control processes, standards, and best practices.
· Conduct supplier quality audits and work closely with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and improve supplier performance.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
· Previous experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
· Flexibility in work location, ability to travel, work overtime and holidays when required.
· Solid understanding of quality management systems, quality control methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques.
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform thorough inspections and tests.
· Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
· Have excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, communicate highly technical knowledge in simple terms.
