In this role you will play a critical role in improving quality performance across the product lifecycle by enabling data-driven decisions in support of both Service Quality and Supplier Quality functions. Reporting directly to the Director of NCC, Productivity, and Service Quality, this position provides high-level analytical and quality engineering support to drive quality improvements and Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) reduction initiatives from incoming inspection through manufacturing, installation, and field service. This role partners closely with Customer Service Operations, Supplier Quality Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing to support the development of dashboards and reporting tools by working with IT developers. The Quality Engineer will act as a primary user and subject matter expert for completed dashboards, ensuring they meet business needs and provide actionable insights. The position will directly support supplier-related NCC analysis and corrective action activities, while also tracking and supporting actions to achieve key Supply Chain KPIs for Before-Delivery Quality (% nonconforming product) and Post-Delivery Quality (excess cost/system at installation). Track and support actions required to achieve Supply Chain Management KPIs including Incoming Quality (% nonconforming product) and Post-Delivery Quality (excess installation cost/system). Collaborate with IT/Data teams to ensure data integrity and optimize data pipelines for quality reporting. Lead data-driven root cause analysis reviews to identify systemic contributors to scrap, rework, field failures, warranty cost, and installation issues. Provide analytics and summaries for executive presentations, operational reviews, and quality governance boards. Support improvements to data structure, quality metric definitions, and reporting consistency across the organization. Mentor supplier quality engineers and others to strengthen data literacy and quality analytics competencies across the organization. What you will have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, or related field. 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, data analytics, manufacturing, or lifecycle product quality roles. Strong proficiency in Power BI, SAP, Excel (advanced), and interpreting complex data sets using data modeling techniques.
