About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web, mobile, and API services through a combination of manual and automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Appium, Postman, and JMeter. This role also provides exciting opportunities to leverage AI tools in testing workflows, validate AI-driven modules, and ensure the accuracy of BI dashboard data.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automation test suites using Playwright for web applications and Appium for mobile or desktop applications.

API Testing

• Design and execute functional and regression tests on RESTful APIs using Postman and Playwright, ensuring robust backend service validation.

Performance Testing

• Use JMeter to conduct performance, load, and stress tests, ensuring system scalability and responsiveness under various conditions.

AI-Powered Testing Support: Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g., test case generation, visual regression detection, anomaly detection) to increase test coverage and reduce manual effort.

QA for AI Modules: Collaborate with AI/data teams to validate AI outputs (e.g., recommendation engines, predictive analytics, LLM features) by designing test cases for accuracy, bias detection, edge cases, and failure modes.

BI Dashboard Validation: Verify data accuracy and consistency in Power BI dashboards by comparing against source data, backend queries, and expected business logic.

Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement test strategies for new features, enhancements, and regression testing to ensure high-quality releases.

CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and frequent delivery.

Mentorship: Mentor junior QA engineers and interns, sharing knowledge in automation, performance testing, and AI-integrated quality assurance.

Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of test plans, automation scripts, test results, and detailed defect reports.

Bug Reporting & Tracking: Log, track, and manage issues using standardized tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and proper communication with developers.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance tuning and scalability testing. Prior experience testing point-of-sale (POS) or retail-based software applications. Knowledge of data validation techniques for BI tools and structured data models.
