Job Description
Quality Assurance Strategy & Governance Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA processes aligned with industry best practices. Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance Center of Excellence (COE) to standardize testing methodologies and quality standards. Ensure QA practices align with business objectives and software development goals.
Defect Prevention & Quality Improvement Implement proactive quality strategies to reduce product defects and improve system stability. Oversee defect management processes, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure quality standards are met across all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Software Release Optimization Streamline QA workflows to optimize software release turnaround time. Collaborate with development and product teams to support timely and high-quality releases. Promote test automation and efficient testing practices to improve coverage and speed.
Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team to build a high-performing and accountable organization. Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous learning within the team. Support skills development through training, coaching, and adoption of modern QA tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with Product, Development, and other stakeholders to align quality expectations. Define, monitor, and report QA metrics and KPIs to management. Identify trends and recommend improvements based on performance data.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance Support the Information Security Management System (ISMS) by following documented processes and maintaining accurate QA records. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage). At least 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience in developing and implementing QA processes and frameworks. Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices. Experience with test automation tools and defect management systems is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
