Validating and verifying infrastructure components, systems and networks to ensure performance, reliability and security requirements are met. Carrying out functional and non‑functional testing across physical and virtual infrastructure. Performing end‑to‑end integration testing. Analysing test results and producing clear documentation. Working independently to manage test activities and contribute to project delivery. Supporting the enhancement of test approaches, tooling and frameworks.
Experience working as an Infrastructure Test Engineer or in a similar role. A strong technical background. Good knowledge of Windows Client and Server operating systems across physical and virtual environments. Experience of end‑to‑end integration testing. Ability to work independently. DV Clearance.
Knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, VMware, Hyper‑V or Citrix. Understanding of security and compliance standards. Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, role‑based access, OU structure and Group Policy. Appreciation of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and DNS. PowerShell scripting skills. ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent qualifications.
