For an European institution in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a hybrid Senior Test Automation Specialist. Experienced in ServiceNow is a nice to have.

Candidates need to be based in Europe within 2 hours of Belgium. Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Design, prepare and monitor ServiceNow automated tests;
Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate ServiceNow automated testing within the testing process;
Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach;
Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture;
Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs;
Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach;
Create automated test reporting and metrics collection;

Profile

Bachelor or Master degree;
+9 years of experience in IT;
+5 years of experience with defining and documenting Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Results;
Proficiency in navigating and configuring the ServiceNow platform;
Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD);
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, ServiceNow ATF, …);
Understanding of ServiceNow’s scripting and automation capabilities, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies;
Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for the ServiceNow platform;
Understanding of test automation strategies and when to apply them;
Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases;
Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure testing accuracy and efficiency;
Experience with performance and security testing;
Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other tools and platforms. Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for ServiceNow integration;
Ability to troubleshoot issues and think analytically to resolve complex automation challenges;
Commitment to staying updated with the latest updates and changes in ServiceNow;
Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager;
