Role & seniority: I&C/Automation Engineer, early-to-mid career in the Engineering Design Organization
Stack/tools: PLC/HMI (e.g., Allen-Bradley); SCADA (FactoryTalk, i-FIX, Wonderware, Ignition); IEC 61131 languages; databases/analytics; OT/IT networking; virtualization; cybersecurity basics; PFDs, P&IDs, instrument specs, control panels
Support development of cost estimates, proposals, and concept-to-detailed design and software commissioning
Design and specify Discrete/Continuous/Batch control systems, process instrumentation, valves, motors, VFDs; select PLC/HMI/SCADA hardware/software
Produce and modify project deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, I/O lists, network/address lists, loop diagrams, control panels) and assist with system checkout/startup; train end-users
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming and SCADA platforms
Understanding of databases/analytics; ability to read/configure OT/IT networks; basic scripting/programming familiarity
Master’s degree
