Salary: $114,800 - $213,200 / year
Role & seniority: Analog & Mixed-Signal Design Engineer (2–3 years experience) at Cadence; individual contributor, team collaborator.
Stack/tools: Analog circuit design methodologies; Cadence Virtuoso for schematic-to-routing testing; scripting in Python, Perl, Shell; Cadence SKILL; QA methodologies; automation tooling; exposure to AI/ML considered a plus.
Develop analog/mixed-signal designs to test Cadence Virtuoso functionalities and interfaces; implement test methodologies and create test specifications/cases.
Set up and monitor automated regression suites; build scripts/tools to automate testing and ensure product quality.
Collaborate with global R&D, Product Engineering, and Software Release teams; interface with internal/external customers.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronics/VLSI with 2–3 years’ industry experience.
Strong understanding of analog circuit design; business-level QA methodologies.
Proficiency in Python, Perl, and Shell scripting; Cadence SKILL knowledge; good debugging and communication skills.
Experience with AI/ML awareness or integration; broader automation experience; global/standards-oriented collaboration.

The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
