Full Description

As a QA Engineer (Manual) at Stockbit, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our fintech products. You will work closely with Product, Developer, and QA teams to validate features, identify issues early, and ensure every release meets our quality standards.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze Gherkin documents / acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements Execute manual testing for web and/or mobile applications

Perform various types of testing including

  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • User Interface (UI) Testing
  • Smoke & Sanity Testing
  • Identify, document, and track bugs clearly with proper reproduction steps and evidence
  • Communicate findings effectively with Developers and QA team
  • Collaborate with QA Automation team by ensuring test cases are automation-ready
  • Support test execution for new features and regression cycles
  • Ensure product quality aligns with business and user expectations
  • Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC Experienced in writing clear test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation Familiar with test management and tracking tools (e.g. Jira) Basic understanding of automation testing concepts (experience is a plus) Familiar with version control tools such as Git Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Able to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication and collaboration skills Passionate about technology, especially web & mobile applications Willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
