Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will take end-to-end ownership of product quality across web applications and backend systems.

This Is Our First Dedicated QA Hire For The Fullstack Team, So We Are Not Looking For Someone Who Only Executes Test Cases. We Are Looking For Someone Who

Thinks like a user Thinks like a developer Think Like a Business Owner

and genuinely enjoys finding gaps, breaking flows, and raising quality standards across the team.

You will work closely with developers, product, and stakeholders and will act as the final quality gate before anything reaches production

Key Responsibilities

Own the overall quality of the product, not just individual features Understand features end-to-end (UI, backend, integrations, data flow) Identify Happy paths Edge cases Failure scenarios Abuse and misuse cases Actively question requirements and highlight gaps or assumptions early

Create test scenarios and checklists independently

Perform

Functional testing Regression testing Exploratory testing Validate API behavior and error handling Ensure consistent and predictable behavior in failure scenarios Write clear, structured, and actionable bug reports Classify bugs based on severity and business impact Collaborate closely with developers as a quality partner Take responsibility for what goes live to clients

Required Skills & Mindset

Must Have

3 years of experience testing web applications or SaaS products Strong logical thinking and attention to detail Ability to think beyond happy paths Ownership mindset — treats product quality as their responsibility Clear written and verbal communication Ability to work independently without constant supervision
