In this hands-on role, you'll collaborate with senior engineers to build robust testing frameworks for professional audio applications, develop automation tools, and enhance our QA processes.

Responsibilities
Test Environment Management: Design, create, and maintain comprehensive QA test environments for professional audio applications
Test Development: Write, execute, and maintain automated tests using Python and other scripting languages
Framework Enhancement: Contribute to expanding test coverage and improving our testing framework architecture
Tool Development: Create innovative tools to streamline QA workflows and boost team productivity
Interoperability Testing: Focus on improving compatibility testing with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs)
Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to identify, isolate, and resolve software issues through systematic debugging
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough regression and product testing to ensure all requirements are met and report findings through formal bug tracking systems and maintain detailed test documentation
Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Sound Technology with programming experience Experience in Python programming Knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) including Unix/Linux command line Understanding of audio signal processing fundamentals Genuine passion for audio and media production technologies Familiarity with professional audio tools (e.g., Avid Pro Tools)
Nice to have
Experience with additional programming languages (Perl, Batch, C, C++, Java) Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test plan creation, and test case design Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, ClearQuest) Understanding of professional audio production workflows Previous internship or project experience in software testing or QA
Eligibility
Available to work part-time for the duration of the internship; the selected candidate is expected to work at least some of that time on-site from the Barcelona office.
