Role & seniority: MTS Software System Design Engineer (10–12 years experience)
Stack/tools: Linux internals; AI/ML training and inference; GPU/PC hardware; multiple Linux distributions; C/C++; Python; test frameworks (gtest, ctest); debugging/tools (gdb, valgrind, strace, perf); scripting (Python/Shell); CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI); container tech (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases for complex system-level features across Linux distros
Analyze, debug, and validate issues using Linux internals, kernel behavior, performance tools, and logs; develop automated tests and validation tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design for quality; mentor junior engineers; drive test process improvements and coverage
Must-have skills: 10–12 years in software testing/validation; deep Linux internals and system architecture knowledge; hands-on with multiple Linux distros; strong C/C++, Python; experience with test frameworks (gtest/ctest); debugging and profiling tools; strong analytical and communication skills; ability to design effective test plans for complex software
