Top 3 Responsibilities
Assist system-level testing, duplication, verification, and troubleshooting of customer RMAs (DIMM modules, DDR, I2C/I3C Hub, Temperature Sensors, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FAE, Test, Product, QA, DE, Marketing) to understand and reproduce customer issues

Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree. Must not have graduated before September 2026

We are looking for a Validation Intern in San Jose, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the system level testing, duplication, verification and troubleshooting customer’s RMA which includes DIMM modules, DDR, I2C/I3C Hub, Temperature Sensors or other integrated circuits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FAE, Test, Product, QA, DE and Marketing to understand, duplicate and troubleshoot customer’s reported issues.
Utilize servers, client PC, lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, protocol analyzer and other test instruments to duplicate, troubleshoot customer’s reported issues and perform product functional verification and system performance benchmarking.
4Document system test setup/environment, results, and findings in detailed engineering reports and contribute to improvement of FA turnaround time.
Contributes to the development and enhancement of automated system test scripts to streamline the troubleshooting process and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
This position will be for Summer
Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, semiconductor devices, and computer architecture principles.
Familiarity with various computer operating system i. e. Windows, Linux and memory test applications software for system level memory testing and validation.
Familiarity with lab equipment and measurement techniques for silicon validation, including oscilloscopes, Power Supply, and Data Timing Generator.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or scripting languages for test automation and data analysis.
Hands-On Experience with Python test automation equipment such programmable power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of silicon validation.
Additional Information
The expected hourly pay range for this position is $30.25 - $40.25. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount, including any applicable bonuses, will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset of the candidate.
