About Job
As a QA executive in Delivery Management, you would be expected to understand requirements, work with Developers and other QA team members and help build a robust solution in Production. You would be expected to participate in Scrum ceremonies, drive code through testing and automation and help with query and error resolution within the Delivery Management function. You would also be expected to engage with other teams to perform end to end testing
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret system requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to ensure full test coverage.
Partner with Developers, and Product Owners to define effective test strategies and detailed test plans.
Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing across various environments.
Create, update, and run test cases in Zephyr with accurate traceability to Jira user stories.
Perform sanity and smoke testing after deployments, ensuring releases are validated on time.
Validate API functionality and integrations using tools like Postman, ensuring alignment between backend and frontend systems.
Identify, document, and retest defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence (screenshots, logs, etc.).
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Work closely with developers during defect triage and root-cause analysis discussions.
Contribute to QA metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, and execution progress.
Continuously refine QA processes, documentation, and test design to improve efficiency and quality
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
Proven experience testing production-grade applications within an Agile development environment.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Agile frameworks, and the defect life cycle.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
Excellent skills in test documentation, troubleshooting, and defect reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical thinking.
Solid knowledge of Python or Java.
Hands on experience on test automation using any framework.
Experience working with Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence for test management and documentation.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Jenkins, or other CI/CD systems.
Familiarity with Gherkin BDD syntax, Playwright, Selenium, or test case design using the Given–When–Then format
