Job Description / Responsibilities Hands-on experience with OTA software upgrade and downgrade activities. Experience creating software updates and deploying them over-the-air (OTA). Experience with ECU flashing, performing software updates via OTA, wire flashing, and/or USB in vehicles (fleet updates). Perform stress, functional, feature, and core hotfix testing for multiple modules within targeted timelines. Validation experience for OTA updates involving 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI, and HMI modules. Create test strategies and test plans, and execute test cycles using JIRA. Capture MLT logs and identify root causes of OTA-related issues. Perform test automation using Python, C#, ECU Test, or similar tools. Experience with HIL validation platforms such as dSPACE, in-vehicle automation testing, and testing tools like Vector CANoe and CANalyzer. Experience working with issue management, defect management, and version control tools such as JIRA, GitHub, SVN, or similar. Collaborate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to address and resolve open issues. Coordinate with Product Owners and Feature Owners to understand business requirements and feature functionality. Conduct defect status and review meetings with stakeholders, including cloud, mobile app, TCU, BCM teams, and suppliers. Strong knowledge of UDS protocol and validation of diagnostics over CAN, DoIP, LIN protocols. Experience with CAN flashing using DET tools, analyzing logs using CANoe/CANalyzer, and recovering partially bricked ECUs in-vehicle using various DET methods. Knowledge of ECU Test and CAPL scripting is an added advantage. Ability to support DevOps teams by developing and validating CI/CD scripts using Python.
