The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of senior-level Business Analyst experience, hands-on QA and testing expertise, and experience supporting complex application systems. This is a 100% on-site contract role in Austin, TX, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-impact public-sector technology initiatives.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user needs, and business processes for application and system improvements Translate business requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of user stories to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met Develop and execute test cases, including manual and mobile application testing Analyze program policies and procedures to assess impacts on automated systems Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and support solution proposals Review and contribute to project deliverables such as project charters, plans, test plans, and risk documentation Consult on application analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend solutions Develop training materials and support or conduct training sessions for internal and external users Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and end users to validate requirements and support system delivery

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
