Automation: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Maven, TestNG, Page Object Model
Programming: Java (automation coding)
API testing: SOAP, Postman; API test suites
Database testing: SQL/DB testing
Test management: general test planning and execution
Top 3 responsibilities
Interpret user stories to design high-level scenarios and convert them into functional test cases and automated scripts (functional and regression)
Develop and maintain automation scripts for UI, API, and DB testing; build and manage test suites for smoke/regression
Contribute to test strategy and decisions; coordinate with teams to ensure coverage and quality
Must-have skills
6+ years overall QA experience (manual and automation)
3+ years hands-on automation experience (Selenium)
Insurance industry experience preferred
Strong Java coding for automation
Experience with API tools (SOAP, Postman) and API testing
Proficient with Selenium and related automation frameworks (Cucumber, Maven, TestNG)
Ability to design and maintain UI, API, and DB test suites
Nice-to-have
Additional programming languages or automation frameworks
Experience in CI/CD integration (beyond Maven)
Prior roles in test management or leadership
