Building Automation Engineer
Join our team as a Senior Building Automation Engineer and play a crucial role in producing timely and accurate submittals for mechanical engineering approvals, generating controller software sequences, and building workstations and server databases with graphics and reporting tools. As a technical expert, you will ensure the quality and consistency of engineering work, improve team efficiency, and assist with the technical training of engineers and technicians.
Directly produce and manage the development of Building Automation System (BAS) submittal drawings, sequence of operations, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and other required contract documents. Maintain a strong, hands-on understanding of technical details and act as a senior subject matter expert. Provide technical guidance to the engineering team, reviewing and validating work for technical accuracy and adherence to standards. Identify and implement systems and processes to improve engineering efficiency and productivity. Provide hands-on technical support throughout the project lifecycle, helping the team meet project schedules and budgets. Assist in the development and delivery of technical training modules for engineers and technicians.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science. Demonstrable experience in BAS engineering with a track record of providing technical supervision.
