Job Description The Opportunity As a Software Test Engineer, you'll use your technical and teamwork skills, knowledge of testing and test automation, DevSecOps tools and methods to help test, deploy and improve our solutions. You will align and integrate well with testers, developers, engineers, analysts, scrum masters, delivery managers and other stakeholders. Responsibilities Review user stories and evaluate their acceptance criteria. Work closely with others to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and help to resolve issues before the new software / solution is complete. Review and contribute to test plans and test reports. Cooperate with other teams to understand full end-to-end use-cases to meet cross-functional requirements. Create test approaches, test scenarios, test cases and automated test scripts (when applicable for the project / solution) for new or changed software. Cooperate closely with validation leads and quality assurance when preparing acceptance criteria & test cases. Implement software tests, using either manual or automated approaches, as well as exploratory testing. Run diverse sets of tests on new or changed software products to ensure they satisfy all specifications and requirements and evaluate results. Write detailed, high quality defect reports for any issues encountered during testing activities. Provide feedback to team members and stakeholders regarding usability and functionality and provide understandable test reports. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing on agile projects with a focus on test automation. Experience with test design and set-up of test approaches. Experience with Microsoft PowerAutomate. Familiar with tools like qTest, Vera, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint. Experience in testing UI (Windows / Web). Experience with Java / Windows scripting and reading of logs. Good experience with testing in the cloud. Interest in the newest testing and test automation trends and best practices. Basic knowledge with AI systems (LLM) in testing and automation. Good in analyzing problems and developing solutions. Proficient in both oral and written communication in English. Team player with innovative thinking.
